Please note that the Editorial Office of Journal Electrochemistry takes summer holidays except for some operations. Inquiries received during the holiday period will be answered sequentially after the start date of business. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your understanding.

• In principle, we will accept papers as usual.
• Advanced Online Publication
  In principle, manuscripts received at the printing office by 2pm on August 6 will be released in the Author’s version (Accepted Manuscript) by August 12. (Publication process will begin after acceptance of a manuscript are subject to confirmation of payment by APC).
• Suspension period for Advanced Online Publication: August 13 – 19.
  For example, even if the date of submission is August 6, submitted after 12:00 a.m. the Advanced Online Publication of the accepted manuscript will be delayed until August 20 or later.
• The dates from August 10 to 16 are not included in the standard peer review period. Therefore, it may take longer than usual to review a manuscript over the period. Of course, however, reviewers can register the review comments in Editorial Manager during the period.
• Responding to inquiries
  General inquiries from authors will be handled as usual, however, inquiries that require discussion by the editorial board will be handled after August 17. The editorial office is closed from April 11 to May 16 for administrative procedures (payment of APC) and proofreading.
