Revised the Instructions for Authors for Electrochemistry

　The Editorial Board of Electrochemistry published by The Electrochemical Society of Japan announces the revisions of the Instructions for Authors for Electrochemistry on April 1, 2025. The revised Instructions are based on the announcement titled “Revision of Editor’s Choice, Cover Art, and APC Reduction Rates” on November 2024. The major revised items of the revision are as follows;

• Compliance with the “Principles of Transparency and Best Practices in Academic Publishing” established by COPE.
  • Clarification on authors’ retention of copyright (Chapter 1)
  • Ethical guidelines (Authors and co-authors and their contributions and Allegations of ethical misconduct, Chapter 3)
  • Copyright Agreement (Chapter 4, Section 1)
  • Management of Electrochemistry editorial office (Chapter 18)
• Restrictions on references in supplementary material (Chapter 6, Section 11)
• Revision of the reduction rate of the Article Publication Charge (APC) (Chapter 11, Section 2)
• Editor’s Choice and Cover Art (Chapter 16)

Since the APC has been revised and the editorial policy has been substantially revised, the new version is published in Volume 93, Announcements Issue. The updated DOI for the Instructions for Authors is
